EXCLUSIVE - Rohit Shetty on clashing Ranveer Singh's film with Shah Rukh Khan-Aanand L. Rai's next and Kedarnath: We are looking for that date

It came as a surprise when it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan-Aanand L. Rai's film, Ranveer Singh-Rohit Shetty's Temper remake and Sushant Singh Rajput-Sara Ali Khan's Kedarnath will be hitting the screens on the same day that is, December 21, 2018.

During an EXCLUSIVE interaction with PINKVILLA, when Rohit was asked about the clash, he stated, "We are still working on it. I won't deny that the film won't come in December. Nothing is finalised yet but we are looking for that date."

There were several reports making the rounds that Katrina Kaif or Jahnvi Kapoor might play the female lead in Ranveer's film. A few months back when we had asked Rohit about the same, he stated, "I am shooting in Hyderabad, I don't know where this story has started coming from. Nobody has been approached for the role as of now. I am busy with Golmaal Again and we are simultaneously working on the Temper remake. We won't be approaching anyone until December and any news before that is fake."

When Rohit was again quizzed about the same to which he refuted the rumours saying, "No, we have not finalised anyone. We are still writing the final draft. I think we will decide on the female lead only in December or maybe in January."

Talking about the movie with a leading tabloid, Rohit said, "The script is best suited for Ranveer. It is an out-and-out action masala entertainer, a kind that he hasn't attempted before. We will include amazing action sequences, and given the kind of energy an enthusiasm that Ranveer has, I'm sure he'll do justice to the part."
