The most trusted historian of India James tod has clearly mentioned Padmini in his 'aaine-akbari'... and even rajasthan's biggest historian /poet of 16th century Muhnot nainsi has mentioned it...even the 'Rajprashasti' built in 16th century in Mewad had the full hitory of thier ancestors, they wrote it to preserve the facts... and many more many more historians have presented their thesis works related to it IF jaisi sites per me aur jyada batana bhi nahi chahta because its too cheap to explain here... all historians are much more authentic then the ones who rejected it... if the story wasn't real then jaysi ki poem me allauddin aur ratan singh ke bhi nam nahi hote

and later Archeological department got sufficient evidences of johar near vijay stambh of chittorgarh fort... and then it was declared as johar sthali...

aur bhi proofs chahiye to jao chittod, visit their royal libraries and museum, read the reports and thesis and get all the facts right on your faces...

IF per bolna bohat asan hai

idhar udhar ki farzi sites pe padh liya bus not real... aur links post karke bolna suru hogaye

(its not with reference to you, its with reference to some people who constantly questions the story here)

Look at other Bollywood blockbusters like 'Bahubali' and Hollywood's 'Troy'. They at least give equal weightage to both the hero and the villain. SLB made a major booboo while casting for the movie...he should have kept Veeru and Deepu in the romantic leads as Ratan and Padmini and should have taken a new face or a regular villain for Khilji...its the vision that people have of Deepveer romancing that is causing the problem...maybe if Khilji was played by a regular villain...this issue wouldn't even have arose..

I totally totally agree with the views in bold part ... Even i could see the deliberate attempt in making khilji character stand out in comparison to ratan singh who is only shown like a love struck puppy

100% agree.

shahid was looking so meek and feeble in front of a well built beefy khilji... khana kam pad gaya tha kya shahid ke liye?... thoda paisa aur kharch karke shahid ko bhi gym bhej diya hota to usko dekh ke ye na lagta ki ye banda to hawa ke jhonke se hi ud jayega 😳 also (no disrespect towards women) but Shahid is looking quite effeminate even without comparison with ranveer.

IDK whether this contrast was intentional or un-intentional but it is so obvious that anyone can notice... obviously all will talk more abt Khilji only in a movie that's supposed to glorify rajput history.
