Ranveer Singh has quite an interesting social media presence. The actor is known for his drastic transformations for his films, and even more, how he keeps his fans updated on what is happening behind the scenes. And it is one of those times when one of his posts catches the eye of the netizens waiting to pounce. Along with the Padmavati, the actor himself is also amidst controversy having portrayed the controversial historical figure that is Alauddin Khilji. And the latest installment seems like another one of those episodes.

The actor posted a beautifully shot picture from a photoshoot for the Filmfare magazine, with the caption that the Twitterati had a problem with which read: "Losing my religion. While many recognised the caption to in fact be a song by the popular American rock band's REM's song Losing My Religion, there were always those who were going to lose their minds on reading it. Though there were some who even came to his defence.

A few of them pointed out that Ranveer's head is still stuck in Khilji's, though there were others suggesting he's doing this to fuel the controversies that already surround the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. And bizarrely enough, some even linked his behaviour to that of Sonu Nigam on Twitter. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. Padmavati is slated for release on December 1 this year.

"Losing My Religion" is a song by the American alternative rock band R.E.M. The song was released as the first single from the group's 1991 album Out of Time. Built on a mandolin riff, "Losing My Religion" was an unlikely hit for the group, garnering heavy airplay on radio as well as on MTV due to its critically acclaimed music video. The song became R.E.M.'s highest-charting hit in the United States, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and expanding the group's popularity beyond its original fanbase. It was nominated for several Grammy Awards, and won two for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Short

Film is HIT coz of Controversy & added collection that will come from 3D release, else in 2D format & without controversy it would have been difficult task.
