I hate this movie. DP was irritating but looked gorgeous. SRK hammed but looked cute. But the colors and OTTness of movie... Devaa- nako re baba... 😆

Deepika had a more meatier role in the movie, so it was obvious for her to steal the show. "Overshadowing" is not the right word I'll say. Anyway, It was not some award winning performance. And it's funny to hear that SRK was OTT in the movie, because the whole f**king movie was OTT.

Oh god i hated that movie!! Dp was gorgeous though. The beginning of the movie was good but as it went on, it was kind of annoying with OTTness.

Both of them were excellent.

SRK is already talented

Deepika was really amazing

She was more funny IMO

But both were equal

When I first saw CE, I cringed. Absolutely cringed at how bad SRK was, because as that time, I was still one of his fans. And one of the few things I remember from that first viewing, was that DP's Meenama was actually one of the few positives of that film. Really...SRK was that bad 😆

It was a funny movie and Deepika had a more impactful role.

There is no f**king doubt about it, you have to be someone whose life revolving around hating Deepika to say she did not overwhelmed SRK in Chennai Express. She may have had a more dedicated written role or SRK paved the way for younger artist(sounds like a ghanta excuse, but well let me lap it too), still bottom line is, Chennai Express SRK looked like a proper joker, more joker than Ran veer Singh looks with his colorful panties, while Deepika gave a very memorable and iconic role which will be there in Indian Pop Cult for long time.

She was good in it perhaps appeared more prominent than SRK and that is the reason I love SRK . He is an experienced actor , by reading the script he know that whose role will have more impact at the end and still he agreed to do the role . It is absolutely great to give space to his co stars .
