You keep staring at her like a lunatic: Akshaye on Aishwarya

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might have turned 44 on Wednesday, but the tag of World's Most Beautiful Woman' which she was associated with after her famous Miss World title win in 1994, still refuses to leave her.

While one of the newer lot of actors like Rajkummar Rao used the same term to express his excitement of working with the actress, even some of the senior actors, who has shared screen space with her years ago, are still fascinated by her.

And when it comes from one of the most reserved and introverted actors in the industry, Akshaye Khanna, it definitely means something.

Akshaye and Aishwarya worked in two films with opposite fates in the same year 1999. After the Rishi Kapoor directorial Aa Ab Laut Chalen' flopped, the pair redeemed themselves with Subhash Ghai's successful Taal', where their chemistry was appreciated.

Akshay was a part of an 'Interrogation with Karan Johar' along with Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha for the promotions of their next film Ittefaq'.

Akshaye was asked by Karan who he finds the sexiest woman in the industry, to which he replied,"I can't take my eyes off her every time I meet her. I have done two films with her. She might be used to be people looking at her. For me, it's embarrassing. I am not used to not being able to take my eyes off somebody. You just keep staring at her like a lunatic."

Even Sonakshi echoed his views, "Not only guys. Even I am not able to take my eyes off her. She is damn stunning."

With such admiration, there's no doubt Akshaye would love to reunite with Aishwarya on the big screen after 18 years.
