Priyanka Chopra makes it to Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women 2017 list.

Priyanka Chopra is currently in New York
shooting for Season 3 of Quantico. Our desi
girl continues to make India proud with her
innumerable achievements globally.
Priyanka has now featured in the 100 most
powerful women in 2017 of the Forbes list.
The Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel,
tops the list while PeeCee has acquired the
97th spot. Harry Potter author JK Rowling
holds the 13th spot while Taylor Swift is in
64th position.
PeeCee also holds the 15th spot in the list of
world's most powerful women in
entertainment and media 2017. It was only
last year that Priyanka had made her debut
on Forbes' list of Highest paid TV actresses
across the globe holding the 8th spot.
Meanwhile, recently, in an interview with a
leading entertainment portal, when asked
about what was the one thing she could do
in Hollywood that she can't do in Bollywood,
Priyanka revealed, " Nothing! At all, actually.
The only thing that I think I get as an
advantage in America vis--vis India is...for
example, A Kid Like Jake. The movie that I'm
doing...the lead cast is Claire Danes and Jim
Parsons. But, it's such an incredible story.
It's based on a play, it's a first time director.
It's about a 4-year-old child who has a
gender crisis and the parents don't know
how to deal with it. He wants to be Rapunzel
instead of Spider-Man. How the school
reacts and I'm the neighbour whose son
doesn't have gender issues and they are
friends. You have people like Octavia
Spencer. You have such incredible actors
who have come together just to do 4 or 6
scenes. That's the only thing that I miss in
India."
Priyanka was also quizzed about the bond
between female actors in Bollywood and
Hollywood to which the actress revealed,
"I'm all about girl love. And I have had the
most incredible experience working in
India. We have celebrated each other's
success just as much in India. I make it a
point to compliment my colleagues
whenever I like their work, wherever I am."
