Golmaal Again is set for a fantastic hold on Monday as it records strong collections on Monday morning. Although its a bit early for an accurate figure it seems the film has the possibility to be around the 15 crore nett mark on Monday which is a huge total.

The film has got benefit of the extended holiday period in Gujarat / Saurashtra on Monday but even in other places the hold is strong. It seems the film has fond more universal acceptance of any other Golmaal film as collections in Nort, South and East far exceed its predecessors. The film will be crossing the 100 crore nett mark in four days.

The drop is that normal 50% type from day one but it has to be taken into account that day one was huge a holiday and fair value collections if it was not a holiday were not even 25 crore nett. So in real terms this 50% apprx drop is a huge hold. Also the ticket rates at multiplexes except possibly Gujarat are at weekday levels and not weekend levels which happens with some of the bigger festival releases and on normal rates it will be one of the biggest Mondays ever.

The Monday business confirms Golmaal Again as the biggest outright HINDI HIT of the year and the next few days will tell how big it will turn out to be. It will actually be Friday which will give some idea to where this film is going.

Golmaal Again is heading for a very strong Monday as it holds strongly all over the country. The Monday figures look to be in the 16 crore nett range as per early estimates with drops of 45-50% in most regions with Gujarat / Saurashtra showing a much smaller drop. the film is going to cruise over 100 crore in four days and stand at around 103 crore nett. The Monday is lower than Judwaa 2 but that had a national holiday. The other film which had a better Monday was better is the legendary Bahubali - The Conclusion. The film is dropping under 50% from a big national holiday on Friday and that is a rarity.

The Mumbai collections are outstanding as it becomes the highest outright Hindi grosser of the year in just four days and is likely to cross 50 crore in Mumbai in just six days and this was the circuits business of Golmaal 3. The film is likely to show higher drops than normal over the weekdays as the Gujarat holiday factor equation comes out of the factor which is normally 4-5 days long. There is not doubt the film is going to be the highest outright Hindi grosser as the first week will go over 135 crore nett but being the highest Hindi grosser is not a huge target and its more about how much further it can go.
