ThalaVeer: No, Khilji certainly doesn't star in my dreams.. Now, if it is Ranveer we are talking about..

CG: Lmaoo, yes! He made him this bland wise shell of the actual charismatic, extremely compassionate & wise ruler. He probably was dyslexic & not completely literate but he is a prime example of education being limited-- That man was just something else. Far ahead of his time, far ahead of his peers. No wonder he is hailed as one of the Greats of the kingly/Imperial times. His God complex withstanding, lol, he was certainly 'great'... Ya, by all historical accounts, Ruqaiyya & then Salima, were the loves of his life. Jodha was apparently the beautiful daughter of a Portugese merchant from whom the legend of Jodha has sprung from, is the latest rumour.

God Ash-HR looked so beautiful, like perfect crafted dolls. 😆 I forgive him just based on how they looked together.

No, he won't, just as Gowariker never showed the 20-30+ legal wives and 1000 women (depends on who you read) that Akbar had in his vast harem & only showed Jodha. 😆 😆 Historians dispute her existence even today & who actually were very much an extremely important part of his life, Ruqaiyya & Salima, he happily excluded!! 😆 😆

Oh I know.. Missing Ruqaiya was funny😆 I mean she was his childhood friend and his closest ally😆
Thats why em saying not for historical accuracy but for fun😆
Ashutosh is not historically correct.. but I like his direction more.. At least liked in JA😆

Rasgulla: Also the actual love of his life, lol. We don't even know if Jodha was real or not!! I any day prefer SLB to Gowariker, but when they just completely exclude the key players in a biopic it's just 😆 Gowariker though did clarify & state that he was ONLY concentrating on their love story so everybody else would've be excluded so as not to offend our modern sensibilities, I suppose 😆 , but I doubt if SLB will. He just wished away such characters I think. 😆 Padma stalked Baaji all the way to his palace & across princely states & that is supposed to be a 'great love story'! What injustice because their love was good, was real. The first time a Marathi Peshwa broke all tradition & took on a second wife, that too a beautiful, very talented half-Hindu royalty, half -Persian Muslim concubine offspring.. And then made her DANCE in front of a stranger!!!! Oh my Lord. How she would've spun in her grave. That's absolutely unthinkable. They would rather kill themself than dance. Dance was seen as an extremely lowly form of entertainment, best suited to courtesans. Not beautiful upper-class women. 🥱

@ MEB - Love reading about Akbar and he was just so amazing , but in the movie they credited every darn good thing to the good louu. Nothing about how Akbar was genuinely interested in different religions and his experiments with them.
I am curious how SLB handles the war sequences , rest this is a simpler subject to tackle than even Mastani movie.

Nothing about the new religion he invented.. Nothing about his empathy to different religions which had nothing to do with his wife
