The much awaited song of the most anticipated film Padmavati, titled 'GHOOMAR'starring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor is here. The cinematography of GHOOMAR is everything that defines Grandeur, Culture and Magnificence. If the song is to be described in one phrase, it's surely 'All Things Done Right'.

The songs bring out the sheer depth of emotions of a Rajasthani event. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has left no stone unturned to make Ghoomar the most compelling song sequence ever. The hard work of the team is crystal clear in the song!

Here are 5 things that we absolutely love about the song, GHOOMAR:

1. The Realistic Choreography: It's sure that Deepika will leave you mesmerising with her magical and graceful dancing skills. Right from the start of the song to its end, Deepika dances exactly similar to how a Rajputani woman would perform on Ghoomar. She pins the dance form to Perfection. From her hand moves to the lachk of her thumka's make the choreography all the more realistic and effortless. The formations and steps will want you to get up and start performing on the song. Hats off to Kruti Mahesh Midya, the choreographer of Ghoomar!

2. Colourful Costumes: By using not more than 2-3 colours, Sanjay Leela Bhansali yet makes the costumes a colourful affair. The women dancing in the song look vibrant when they do the signature Ghoomar step in their extravagant costumes. Deepika dressed in a dark red lehenga paired with yellow and green silk blouse brings out the right flavour of a Rajasthani costume. All the ladies in the song look ethereal while performing!

3. Shahid Kapoor - Deepika Padukone's unspoken chemistry: There's only one sequence in the song when Maharana Rawal Ratan Singh aka Shahid and Maharani Padmini aka Deepika Padukone look at each other and the smirk on their face speaks up for their undeniable chemistry. In the entire song sequence, Shahid looks at Deepika and his expressions are that of how proud and happy he is to watch her Rani dance. You will fall for Shahid's smile!

4. The highly- listenable style of Music: Singers Shreya Ghosal and Swaroop Khan have indeed done a perfect job. The lyrics give you an excellent feel of any other Marwari song. The makers have blended the music and the lyrics so well that you can't stop but listen to it on repeat. The music is given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the Rajasthani lyrics are penned by Swaroop Khan which defines the authenticity of the song!

5. Stunning Visuals: Initially when the song starts to its end, one thing that will blow your mind are the startling visuals. The shots will leave you stunned and the song in itself is Picture Perfect. Ghoomar is lavish in all senses. The end step of Deepika dancing with the diya is shot in a spectacular way. The song already indulges you deep in the story of Padmavati!

When you think of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, it cannot be complete without the following two factors: one, grand sets, second, lavish choreographed sequences. With Ghoomar', the first song from Padmavati's soundtrack, Bhansali ups his ante alongwith leading lady Deepika Padukone.

DP as Rani Padmini is a stunning visual throughout the song and does not allow you to shift your gaze for a second. She leaves you riveted with her expressive eyes and graceful twirls. Apparently, the actress learned the dance form from renowned Ghoomar expert Jyothi D Tommaar, the assistant director of India's only authentic Ghoomar academy.

Choreographed by Kruti Mahesh Midya, Ghoomar' has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Swaroop Khan with music by Bhansali himself. A.M Turaz and Khan have penned the Hindi and Rajasthani lyrics respectively.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh, Padmavati' is all set to release on December 1st, 2017.
