Ranbir Kapoor today marked his presence at
a prestigious Film Festival in Mumbai. The
actor talked about nepotism, love for films
and more with his fans.
While talking about nepotism, he said, 'I'm a
product of nepotism and I don't shy away
from it but I don't take advantage of it.''
When asked about his favourite actor,
Ranbir said, 'My favourite actor is Ranveer ,
the actress is Alia and director is Karan
Johar.''
Ranbir and Ranveer have always shared a
warm friendship towards each other,
though they seem to be arch rivals as far as
their career is concerned. The two stars had
appeared together for the very popular chat
show Koffee with Karan, where they were
seen having a blast.
When Karan had asked the actors about
their equation with each other and if there
was any awkwardness due to turn of events
over the years. While Ranveer denied having
issues, Ranbir had an interesting response
to the question. He said, "I've hung out with
them. I think they have an amazing creative
partnership on screen. And beyond that, just
the way they are with each other, they really
compliment each other well. They are in
ways perfect to each other's energies and
I'm really happy for them.''
"And I hope they can see this through and
really make some awesome babies together.
And I hope that their babies like me and I'm
their favourite actor.
When asked about his thoughts on Ranbir's
remark, Ranveer said, "'Koffee with Karan' is
a time pass show. We talk a lot of nonsense
about it, those are not to be taken as
seriously as you are doing."
On the work front, Ranbir is currently busy
shooting for Sanjay Dutt's biopic which also
stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma in
pivotal roles.
Ranveer Singh, on the hand, is busy
prepping up for Padmavati, which also stars
Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in
lead roles.
