"I am neither the producer nor the director of the said film [TWM]. Therefore, I am not in a position to announce the sequel to it. However, media reports that claim I am keen to do the film should know that I'd refused the sequel to this film long ago. The publication who printed Mr. Aanand L Rai's quote along with the confirmation of the same claims that he did confirm the sequel to them. Based on the recent denial from his end all I can gather is that he first announced it and then denied. Well, it seems fair as he can do what he likes with the property as Mr. Shailesh Singh and he holds the equal rights to the sequel of TWMR, not ME."

Wow 😆😆 So, she refused the sequel and he is to be blamed. Is Kangana ever responsible for anything?

Shailesh Singh is equal holder of rights? Hhhmmm Since he is in her pocket ( or vice versa) maybe the two (KR and SS) thought they could strong arm ALR into a deal or planned to make sequel with another director (ala poor Ketan Mehta). I am not at all surprised by her blatant lying. I am surprised she did it in a way so easy to catch. There must have been a plan that went terribly wrong.

She thought she will just float this rumor, will increase some positive buzz around her. Also lobbying for twmr3 to happen (lol how the mighty has fallen) but anand was too quick to deny it. No one really bothers to respond to such rumors. But with kangana ranis past record people are now quick to respond in case she takes this silence as a yes and runs wild with it

Kangana sent info to all publications... Now after alr denial.. She put it on alr head saying he spread news first n denying now.. It does not bother me as I have rejected film

It's exactly like hrithik case. She spread news of affair when he denied put it all on him.. Saying he was harassing me.. Mental trauma I have moved on.. From such silly exes

@ Just - But why officially confirm it? Floating rumors I totally get but to officially, on the record, confirm it? Was it because reporters are less willing to report her blinds (wouldn't report without a named source) or did she really think she could make it happen? It really does make no sense to go on the record (even if her usual fans buy her denial - the press knows the truth) and then have egg on her face after. She couldn't possibly have expected no response after an official confirmation from the lead, could she? People readily ignore rumors but confirmed signings seems far fetched even for KR. Why not at least confirmed "in talks" or likely, etc?

^She probably believed it. She has always been wacky when it comes to these things. She was mad at Aamir because she believed from newspaper reports that he had offered her a film. She must have read somewhere Anand Rai saying he wants to work with her and just added it together to come up with TWM3. Then she was mad at SRK after rumors came out that he didn't want to work with her so she started giving interviews right after that she would never work with SRK and doesn't need him or any Khans.

Celebrities the world over can be weirdos but it's the job of her manager and PR people to keep control over all that and make sure they present a dignified image to the world regardless how the person actually is or isn't.

But mainly I think the media is being mean in a way they wouldn't be to other stars by naming and shaming her and her PR for making this up. All stars make up movie rumors but I think they were not believing her so she had to "confirm" herself before they would print it. She didn't expect that a denial would come because she's shared a decent relationship with Anand Rai before.

I think with this she has successfully burnt all the bridges with ALR. Her tone is accusatory, demeanour offensive ALR isn't going to take it lying down now specially when he's in "big league". KR is stupid she'll not be left with anyone to work with..and movie are a collaborative effort not an elocution competition to go solo.

^This was a definitely a nonsense fight to start with Anand Rai.

He was one person that she actually was getting along with so there was no need to mess with him. Plus she always sounds too harsh and always has to give a reply to everything. If he denied, just let it pass. The media forgets soon enough.

Oh god! Why everyone hates her so much. Poor thing isn't probably good at the PR games people play. She's too naive to be commenting on reports and quotes. Must learn to ignore certain things and move on. Not everything deserves a reaction.
