The legacy of Dhoom franchise in
renowned. Beginning with John Abraham,
then Hrithik Roshan, and finally Aamir Khan
in the last one, Dhoom has only got bigger
and better every time.
With the fourth installment of the film in
discussion and Aamir who has already been
a part of Dhoom 3, the makers had only two
Khans- Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan
who could help maintain the film's star
power. And since Salman has already
signed Race 3, the makers are likely to
choose Shah Rukh Khan.
An inside source revealed, "Adi wants to
take Dhoom 4 to the next level and he's
asked Maneesh Sharma to write the film.
He's currently scripting it. For those in the
know, Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor
(director of Dhoom 3) is now busy with
Thugs of Hindostan. So the film will change
hands again. Maneesh will probably direct it
as well.
Maneesh who has worked closely with SRK
on Fan only adds to be the cherry on top as
they already share a great
rapport. "Although Fan didn't work at the
box office, SRK and Maneesh have discussed
about working together again. Nothing is
on paper as of now, but for SRK, all that isn't
required when it's a YRF film. Only a call
from Adi is enough, the source concluded.
