Don't know enough to judge their lives and decide who I respect on walking out on whom...Thankfully they both kept their lives to themselves and did not spread it on the page 3 to become laughing stock of the world!

Respect anyone who stands up to her bullies and abusers. Aishwarya showed to the world that she wouldn't stand such bullshit even at the cost of her career suffering badly. She has amazing strength, resilience and dignity, and she has displayed it effortlessly here.
