One of the Best movies of this decade, in terms of emotional quotient, performances, music, direction. Ranbir and PC were exceptional, gave their career best performances, Ileana was ethereal as Shruti.

Pritam's music is unforgettable, we still listen to the songs, they are real gems.

Beautiful movie. Everything was just so perfect. Actor, director, cinematographer, music.. My mom told me how she watched this movie theater in San Francisco which was packed to the gill and at the end received standing ovation. The energy in theater was something else, she said. And Ranbir received lot of respect from the audience. Since I love Basu/RK's flawed but terrific JJ even more, I have to add- "Thank you Barfi. Without you, JJ would not have been possible".

May the magic of Barfi live on in heart of people ... 😳

Barfi was pure magic !! When everything comes together - Actors, Music, direction, story and the movie flows like a poetry.

I wish I was a RK fan when I saw this movie.

Megs and Piya - I thought I loved JJ more coz I saw it as a fan, so I am biased. Glad I am not alone.

This song and the singer Papon is so underrated. IT got overshadowed by other gems from movie.

You're not the only one Piya! I too loved JJ more than Barfi. Jagga was a pure cinematic experience. :)

OT : Love you DKD for making such a gorgeous thread for Barfi. Can't believe its been 5yrs since it released. There are movies and there's BARFI. 🥳
