I think Haseena can cause a dent for Simran - although I personally don't care for Haseena - not sure why I see lot of positive comments on social media (I know that means nothing but just saying)0

Kangana Ranaut's Simran failed to impress the critics, and also had an average opening box office collection. Reports now suggest that the actress' focus on highlighting her personal issues rather than the film's promotion caused the debacle.

Kangana has been in news for her allegations against Hrithik Roshan and some others, more than the movie Simran. According to SKJ Bollywood News, the Queen actress hardly focused on promoting the movie, and instead remained busy in bringing up her past affairs.

The report also said that Kangana had been dominating the Simran crew, and had even sidelined director Hansal Mehta.

"Kangana is uncontrollable. She took over the project from Hansal Mehta, almost completely. During the New York schedule of Simran , Hansal sat in a corner while she told the technicians and the cast what to do. It came to a point where the entire NY crew of Simran threatened to walk out. Kangana has rendered Hansal Mehta powerless," the report quoted a source as saying.

"No one tells her what to do or what to say at events. She just takes over and we all listen quietly hoping there won't be more dirt from her cupboard flying around. We are supposed to be promoting a movie. But no one seems to remember that. Simran is sidelined. Kangana's 'What Men Did To Me When I Didn't Know Better' confessions are the flavour of the campaign," the source added.

It was expected that Simran would have a good opening at the box office, but the movie has had a very average collection on its first two days. After collecting Rs 2.77 crore on Friday, the film earned Rs 3.76 crore nett at the Indian box office.

Apart from her explosive comments on Hrithik Roshan and some other celebrities during a number of chat shows, Kangana had grabbed eyeballs for a satirical "Yes, I have a vagina re" video that was created in collaboration with All India Bakchod.

If Queen's success is credited solely to her then same goes for failures too. And, since she actively changed the script as per her whims then yeah, she is the reason for the movie's failure.

Lol how did Kangana become so powerful that she has been controlling the entire unit and they had to quietly bear it? Was she the producer of the movie who threatened to block their cheques or something? Am I really suppose to believe this team had absolutely nothing to do with the promotion route Kangana took for the movie? Yeah sure.Wasn't the producers asked Kangana to go to Aapki aadalat cause she shouldn't be scared of anyone. Clearly, they were hoping she will talk about the movie there.

The victim card is still around, jiske haath aaye wohi use karke chala jaata hai. But I m glad those dirty tricks brought them no benefits. Cashing on controversies that affects other people's life is the lowest one can stoop. I m glad everyone is failing miserably here. Now go blame each other and save ur ass.

I don't understand why she considers herself as a superstar?? I mean doing dozen of movies out of which several are flops and for remaining she had got three national awards including supporting cast doesn't gave her status of so called superstar or megastar...
If she is responsible for the success of movies like Tanu weds manu returns and queen then at the same time she is responsible for the failures of Katti batti,rangoon,tez,rascals,i Lv ny, etc etc.. ..there is no doubt she is a good actor onscreen and offscreen both...if she is a victim then there would be some mistakes made from her side too...always playing victim card, promoting feminism doesn't give you success...I agree there is a dark side of Bollywood which she knows n we common people don't...but at the time of ur movie release plz talk something about your film also...these news portal are only taking advantage of kangana's extrovert nature...n example is aap ki adalat.. ..

Yes she is. Opening numbers speak a lot. With smaller releases other actress have given bigger opening numbers. If her team reads this they better tell her the reality that she is no star or superstar but just another actress with no strong fan base or crowd pull.
