A biopic you'd like to be made on a Bollywood star? - Page 3

Rajesh Khanna: Veni-Vidi-Vici

This story has everything: rise and fall of the biggest superstar ever in Bollywood; his evolution from simpleton roles to art films; an unmatched craze that has been unrivaled since; his personal romances; controversies, and finally adventures with alcohol.

It's a story screaming to be made. But no filmmaker in Bollywood would do justice to this, exception perhaps Bhansali. You'd need someone like Innaritu to pull it off.

Also, would love to see an HONEST biopic about Divya. She achieved so much in such little time and who knows what that does to a person.

I wasn't even born when she died but I did read a lot of articles about her and there are so many contradictory statements. Whenever I watch one of her movies I can't help but think about so many what-ifs...

Sridevi, achieved stardom before she was 19 in South then became super star in BW in her early 20s and she not only survived, she thrived... That's something

What was different about DB was she got married at 18 or 19 just when her career was ascending by leaps and bounds... That's very unusual.

Her life was truly tragic to the point that it...kinda fascinates (sorry, can't really find the proper word) me? She went through so much. I've read that she was suffering from schizophrenia and paranoia.

I'd really love to see a non-dramatized biopic about her life that won't glamorise mental illnesses and show the reality of her and MB's love story. There's so much mystery around her.

I am guessing after her marriage fiasco and her husband's suicide Rekha was maligned and shunned by the industry, (she made a remarkable comeback) she must've started relying on Nazarana more and more

This reminds me of TN's former CM Jayalalitha and her close confidant and live-in friend's relationship

Jayalalitha used to refer to her as her sister too... But most people didn't buy it
