Also so freaking glad this film has done well, I'm sick and tired of people bashing Kriti, unfairly. On one hand people are constantly complaining about Alia getting every film possible and the fact that she isn't pretty at all, at least not BW standards of hot/pretty but they still praise her to the skies despite her being average at best and here someone who is finally getting some chances, where 10 female star kids all get a film, Kriti has probably pushed through being the only one allowed in from 10 female outsiders.

Alia looks great to people because she is better than the really shit star kids that came at the time around her, the one that is still average compared to some terrible ones is obviously going to look amazing when you have such horrible performers. Same thing happened with Ranbir. BW only need one male and female to become superstars, so the two that the audience accepts from 10 shit ones is obviously going to be touted the next best thing. THis is exactly why BW is failing. Case in point proven with Ranbir failing as bad as he is, (I actually have liked him in films, but the hype behind him as literally made me annoyed with him - also he in no way can justify the fee he charges for his films, too big for his boots, he needs to reduce his fee heavily, since he is still no where near the superstars). Ranbir came when there were no popular young actors, all others failed (people wanted some fresh faces after rejecting all other star kids in that decade previously, since the Khans were still too big and doing the same films), so it was easy to pick him over the others, now that there are more options and actors who people have started to like more like Varun and Ranveer, things aren't going to so well for Ranbir. Same will happen with Alia.

Kriti definitely has potential, only if she was given a chance. SHe gets a given BKB after 3 films while Alia got a Highway right after SOTY. Kriti is pretty, I'm not saying she is drop dead gorgeous, but some comments are unnecessarily harsh. At least she is prettier and hotter thank Alia and if given the proper chance could really improve, which she is clearly with every film.
