Fave - fantasy, romcoms, musicals, romance and mystery/thrillers, slice of life.

I basically like everything and anything except horror and gory stuff

Thriller 1st. I am yet to find as mindblowing match as Kahaani for me. Bong movie 22 e Shrabon, Hindi Talvar and few other movies as well.

Detective 2nd. Bengali series of Feluda and Byomkesh 😎 (Not the lame SSR one for sure).

Good love-stories 3rd. VZ remains my ATF followed by HSSH (mostly for Vivek-Sadhna though), MPK (I find HAHK over-rated 😆), Mann, Mohabbatein, HHRPK, DDLJ.

Social issues/Country related/Humanity related 4th. Swades tops. Bong movie Agniswar second. BB, TZP etc in the list.

Rest all are like one-time watch for me.

Hollywood Slasher movies are my favorite genre, the ones which have alot of blood and gore. I love seeing people being cut into pieces. 😈
These movies have the same storyline of a a psychopath killing people brutally with sharp objects for some or no reason.
There is no need of looking for script, acting or logic in these type of movies. Blood and gore is enough to satisfy me so I enjoy almost all movies in this genre.

Slice of life, Social issue/thought provoking cinema, comedy, romance, family drama... basically any and all if they are good movies. Exception being horror and serial killer movies. 😆

Animation followed by movies made on a serious subject like Masan.
I don't usually waste my money on typical romance movies and I prefer watching them when they are available online.
