its good they aren't. only a mature good love story will work, him trying to romance a young heroine like in policegiri won't work nor will it look good on screen so this is best.

they could have also gone bhai behen route but baap beti bond is more stronger so this is better.

I just hope it releases here otherwise have to wait for dvd 😭

Agree! They don't show anything innovative, nor try to break down societal prejudices against such rape victims. The only movie that did justice to this theme (even though it wasn't rape technically) was Pink! That directly tore down regressive rhetoric. Otherwise, all of these films don't offer anything new content wise.
