PZ played the main lead in veer zaara where else rani was supporting! I wouldn't say she was in her shadows at all! The one movie PZ played a supporting role aka KANK the movie failed!

Not in movies but in overall popularity.

Even today Aishwarya is making flops, drugs ruined Preitys life and Rani runs a movie studio

Anushka was a aditya chopra heroine! And like I said I am not sure about the no. Of hits but preitys roles were far more impactful than anushka's side roles in big movies! Pretty can take credit for KHNH or Veer Zaara! Anushka cannot take credit for PK or Sultan

Preity is way ahead of Anushka,

Anushka is forgettable and easily replaceable who will not find a place in the memories of Bollywood.

though Juhi and Preity were known as bubbly actress still there is a lot of diff between them and Anushka...

Juhi was very popular for her comic timing in 90's...she had memorable movies,roles and her chemistry with Aamir and SRK was very popular...

at one point Preity alongwith Rani were top stars for few years...she had memorable movies,biggest hits,good roles and she had good chemistry with her co-stars...knw that it's often been said that Preity's bubbly nature extends from her real-life into her films but still she had played roles in contrast to the ones she is known for in films like DCH,Sangarsh,Heaven on Earth,The Hero,...

this has not been the case with Anushka till now...neither she has memorable movies and roles nor her chemistry with co-stars is popular... IMO Juhi is better actress than both of them and Preity is better than Anushka...

rani always overshadowed preity..she would totally eat her alive with her solid acting (except for HDJPK coz she was lying on bed for 90% of the movie)

from CCC..the climax scene where preity asks rani to give her either her hubby or baby..rani was so much better..where as preity struggled with emotional part

she improved..but rani despite having a supporting role in VZ..totally overshadowed preity..it totally reminds me of a Bajirao Mastani situation

I used to really like PZ but rani as an actor has always been miles and miles ahead..and she was PZ's biggest competition that time..of course her own focus on IPL and drugs totally led to her career's premature death

Juhi i feel was seriously wasted her potential..she could have done a lot better in terms of acting..she stuck to those comic roles which turned rather horrible in late 90s post Ishq (her last success as a leading lady) ..again poor choices and average acting..her voice was her biggest minus point..

also juhi had a lot of air about herself..she refused so many roles..Raja Hindustani coz she didn't like aamir..DTPH coz she felt supporting roles are a hit to ego..where as the same one did wonders for karisma and for so so many..it is all about performance..but yeah she would have never danced the way karisma did with madhuri as well

Niks Anushka was in JTHJ whcih was directed by Yash Chopra
About memorable roles yes Anushka has less than Priety now
But she still has many days left in her career
So she will catch up
