Shah Rukh Khan's days are over???

Why his films are not doing great business like other 2 Khans?

Forget about Khans but why his films are not being accepted by audience wholeheartedly like they used to be before?

I watched Dilwale it is the same masala movie like any other Salman movie, still did not cross 400 cr or 500 cr or made any other record. And it had Kajol and Varun Dhawan.

The movie might be bad so are Salman movies but they do great business.

When Shah Rukh tries offbeat movie that also fails.

Raees did fair business despite of clash.

JHMS will be real test of stardom for Shahrukh.

i never with Sallu movies as i Know it will be unbearable for me. on the other hand SRK chose bad projects in the last few years. Raees was okay but there he was over shadowed by Nawaz and in dear Zindagi he had a minimal role to play. lets see how JHMT turns out to be.

The trend of potboiler-masala movies ended in 2013 and Salman's superstardom ended in 2012. Since 2013, all 3 Khans stardom were on the same level but Aamir and Salman are playing smartly. Aamir was always good in choosing scripts but when Sallu saw that masala genre is dying(underperformance of Jai Ho and Kick to some extent), he shifted to content films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. Both these movies crossed because of extraordinary positive WOM. Without good content Sallu's level is same as of SRK(Kick : 211 Crores, CE : 207 Crores). But Bhai can't ghost-direct all his movies like Aamir so he also gives some tortures like PRDP and Tubelights in between.
SRK Films are not accepted by audience because he's not doing good movies and an offbeat movie will obviously not work with the large section of audience.
I guess SRK is not knowing how to reinvent himself or maybe is just not interested in making movies anymore. You said Raees did well despite a clash, but forgot that Dilwale too was released on a clash and expecting it to cross 400-500 Crores?? 🤓

I don't think SRK has to give any test on his stardom after surviving in the industry after all these years. Even if he stops acting in movies, there will be no effect on his career. He's been at the top and has achieved almost everything. And he's still doing better than a lot of actors in Bollywood. So nah, his days aren't going to be over so soon even if this forum calls him a done and dusted actor for a Zillionth time.

offbeat movie wont work unless the budget is low .dear zindagi worked but fan did not .

This year Raees is the second best performer after Baahubali
Raees had released in a clash in a non holiday period
He has made some wrong script choices previously
But recently his script choices are varying widely
He has proved whatever he had to prove in the 25 years
So he has nothing further to prove now
He still gives great opening so his star power is the same
Film will work if it is well made and has a good audience response

Dilwale is a really boring movie, I had lot of expectations for that movie but when I watched it, I completely lost interest for it, even Salman's movies r not good but they r at least watchable because of the item dances and songs, it seems nowadays most SRK's movies are boring and not much interesting.

haan lagta toh kuchh aisa he hai😭...but anyways...I am liking his movies more now than I used to in the past. I am just hoping that he doesn't get discouraged and shifts his focus entirely to his business from movies...agar aisa hua toh BW will be over for me...I will still watch some movies which are good...but my interest in BW will be finished.
