Slightly off topic. But the internet is a scary place to be for kids. Has anyone heard about this suicide game called- blue whale? I heard about it a few months ago. And this morning I read about another suicide in the news as a result of this game. 😒

I have a love/hate relationship with the INTERNET. Most times it is great but you can end up in places you do not want to be.

I was randomly browsing some holiday destination forum and pretty sure one of the topics was discussing if it is easy to pick up boys in Goa and are they cheap.

When they were saying boys I thought adults or ... 😕

I never hate the internet. Where else can you find the meaning of everything under the planet in a few seconds??

yes I read this news today... so sad... they mentioned that the boy was probably suffering from depression also 😒

there is so much on internet that can drive people crazy... just the other day Opu told me about the 'Elevator ritual'... and when I googled I came to know that there are many such bizarre rituals or games on the internet.

I don't know if I exactly sometimes hate Internet or no, but one thing that I hate for sure, a byproduct of Internet - keyboard warrior and online bullys. 😕

That's true... That's what happened to 14 yr old Megan Meier... She committed suicide after being bullied by 16 yr old Josh Evans online

Josh Evans turned out to be her 49 yr old neighbor and the mother of a former friend

I came across something disgusting too.. Recently...

There is an art space online called "Dolcett" where people draw art on...wait for it...women being cooked and eaten 🤢 it is a cannabalism ritual. And it's not just an online thing, some people actually tried to keep women as sex-slaves then thought of cooking them into a pot and stuff. *shudders*

That is really shocking and sickening 😲 I'll google more about it. Poor Megan😭 I think teens should not be given access to internet, they come across too many bad things that screw many's lives forever
