Anyone who understands music and desires to be a playback singer will never NOT focus on Sonu Nigam. I mean people learn music by listening to his songs. Ive got 2 sisters who are classically trained and my uncle who does some music composition.. so i know!!! They all say that Sonu is in a class of his own. So he is not just a singer for the masses... He is a singer for the class too. Why do you think Arijit idolised him growing up? I mean all the singers who are the current sensations like Arijit or Armaan or Irfan grew up singing his songs and imitation his expressions - so really, no need to lose heart. Besides how does it really matter to him? He has already become a legend. He knows it will be a long time before somebody can take his place.
About the recent controversy - I really and truly think that it will eventually die down. I dont think he meant it the way it was taken and eventually people will understand that. Sonu has always been surrounded by controversy. In spite of that he has maintained his brand. What he has achieved will always stay.
P.S: You are such a huge fan of sonuji. I had no idea these songs even existed. They are all awsome. But my personal favourite for the current mood that i'm in still remains 'dard'
