I have noticed that Bollywood movies are not entertaining anymore.

Jagga jasoos ended up as crap

Akshay use to give entertaining movies but he has reduced

SRK is not coming out of his romance syndrome

Salman is all about making money and milking his one good movies with 3 crap movies

Amitabh is finished

Ajay was never in it

Ranveer Ranbir Varun do not have in them to be a solo lead

Hrithik is having difficulty coming out from Jadoo mode

I mean it is a disaster

Flop after flop... i wanted to go watch jagga...it turned out flop. I wanted to go watch munna ..it is getting bad reviews

What is happening

Who will save Bollywood

Saif is another flop

Aamir could but he makes one movie in 2 years

My hope is mubarakan will be an entertainer

So question is who will save Bollywood from this current low. Who is expected to give hit after hit.

Bahubali is a one time wonder and will dissipate in thin air. Prahabas suited that role and I am sure he must have done a great job to get such a big hit but still he does not have in him to be a bollywood star who has to not only attract Indians but desis all over the world to make money in dollars.

It has to be established Bollywood star

Khans are obvious choice as they appeal to every desi. Problem is they are too old now and clinging to straws. At their age men have pot bellies, white hair and hair oozing out from nose. They have maintained well ... plus luck is such that young heroines are dying to work with them. If you ask a 25 year bollywood actress if you want to work with ranveer or shahrukh she will pick srk. varun or salman..she will pick salman. These oldies still have a strong hold over industry. They are now producing movies.

Still future is not theirs. Saif is a clown. Hrithik missed his chance though he could have taken this place. Akshay seems like is interested in making money and cashing in on old success.

This leaves Ranveer, Ranbir, Varun, Siddharth as only hope.

They are good but all have given flops ..big flops. Ranveer ruined aditya chopra movie. His movies make shahrukh khans. he ruined it. Ranbir is flop after flop. Varun is good but his road to success ends with a door and when that door will be opened he will find govinda. Siddharth comes out as dumb body builder

Hippo is in pain. Hippo is worried. Bollywood is my connection with you guys. If it finishes..I will cease to exist on forum.

Till the Bigboss starts.

they need to stop going over budget, there were times, they could make movie for 1 cr. now its shameful if the budget isnt over 100 cr for A lister and 50 cr for B lister. control budget and don't run after hype

ya I agree with RR...maybe it's just going through a low phase... everything has phases of ups and downs..

or maybe it's only the mainstream cinema that sucks.. and I am unaware of other movies

This has been a poor year for Bollywood
Still there are quite a few big films to come
Till the end of the year we will get a few more hits

As rough as it is today, it isn't even the worst time in the last 20 years. Post 2002 was the worst time in Bollywood history. One of the three big money spinners, Sunny Paaji was done and dusted. Hrithik the instant superstar was going though a tough time and was being written off as a one hit wonder. Salman was in jail somewhere and Aamir was on vacation(4 years waali). SRK single handedly carried Bollywood at that time. Things were so bad that the second highest grossers used to be films like Murder and media was trying to play Saif's moderate successes as blockbusters just so they could have one other star, thus coining the phrase, "Only SRK And Sex sell today."

SRK will save the day again with HMS just as a King can. Plus aaj Aamir and Salman ki bhi thodi aukaat hai. 😉

That movie is listed as one of the most hated movies, was a disaster, panned by critics and masses

Madonna, no matter how much she tried, couldn't find any success as an actress or in HW

Yeah she's the right person to save BW 😛

And the Bhatt camp has not remade that movie yet? That's surprising
