Who has bigger status in Bollywood at present??

Deepika was queen superstar of Bollywood but Deepika left bollywood and went Hollywood and now shooting only for Padmavati.
She had last film in 2015.
She did one item number in Raabta but that was also flop.
She has this Vishal Bharadwaj movie with Irrfan Khan but no other movie.


On the other hand Katrina has been delivering flops after flops...fitoor, phantom, baar baar dekho...
But still she has 3 movies in her hand...
TZH with Salman Khan
TOH with Aamir Khan
Anand L Rai's untitled one with Shah Rukh Khan

That's amazing given she is no where near to Deepika as acting in concerned.

And not to forget JJ just released.


But Deepika Padukone, the name itself is reliable, isn't it? Deepika is still a superstar.

So who has bigger and better status currently in bollywood?

Deepika. She wouldn't be getting the best brands otherwise.

Katrina's shelf life is over. She is barely hanging on but it's like trying to hold sand in your hand.

tubelight is the biggest movie in the history of bollywood because it stars the biggest star Salman 👏

Disappearing from BW for xXx is probably one of the worst career decision Dp has made.
Dont know about others but I am tired of SLB's historicals starring DeepVeer..So at this point I dont really care much for Padmavati.


Katrina's glamor days have also passed a long time ago..People have moved on to fresher (and more natural) faces...Also the films she has signed will only probably earn her the hit tag... Nothing exciting in that.

I'm not sure what defines superstar status. Back in 2015, it would have been Deepika. But Deepika is legit non-existent in BW rn. No proper Padmavati updates related to her. No future movie updates. Just saw her at KJo's party recently that's all. She's had no movie release since 2 years.
She wasn't on KWK this year, which was pretty weird according to me.

On the other hand visibility, vise Katrina seems to be doing so well. I genuinely thought her career is over but she's already signed so many movies.

Not sure how much XXX actually did for her
The only other film she has now is Sapna Didi
Much will depend on the fate of Padmavati

On the other hand Katrina is back in the race now
She has 3 films with the 3 Khans
Jagga Jassos just released now
She has more buzz than Deepika right now

So at this moment Katrina is in a better position
Though that can change in the future

Well, not as much as HW did for Priyanka for sure.

I dont think even Deepi knows what she wants to do with HW... She looks lost.
