Do you feel like arijit's voice is overused?? - Page 2

IDK about him being overused, but I feel he should use his voice more... Dude has such a nice manly sexy voice, but sleep-sings most of the time..

Oh how could I forget papon.. I love his song moh moh ke dhaage.. and I happened to see his tribute to jagjit singh live.. I'm a fan since then. One of the few singers who can sing live well!! He is sos so so talented!

No the 90s and the 2000s did not have a monopoly. But there was a strong reason for it. That was when the singer used to be decided by the music directors and so the casting used to be as per who is better suited to a song. For eg. If chaiyya chaiyya had to be sung by Sukhwinder singh then it HAD to be sung by him. Because no other singer would be able to do justice to the song the way he would. That's why during those days ek singer ki chaap hoti thi. You hear so many cover versions of chaiyya chaiyya. But still Sukhwinders voice is imprinted for that song and you'll find no other singer justifies it as well as he. Doesn't mean that sonu can't sing the song or kk can't. The notes remain the same. But it will never sound as good in their voices. Same goes for tadap tadap ke. You can hear as many versions of that song as you want but you'll only hear kks voice. Same goes for kal ho na ho. Or abhi mujh mein kahin. But that doesn't go for arijits songs. He doesn't imprint these songs except for the sad and romantic love ballad. U can hear bulleya or ae dil hain mushkil in Amit Mishras voice and that still sounds magical. That's because the casting now a Das is done by the music company and not the music director. So since arijit is the current hit machine all songs are given to him whether they suit him or not. It doesn't mean he isn't a great singer. It just means that the kind of opportunity that the other singers should get, they aren't getting

Ae dil hai mushkil is sung by arijit and it's oneof the best song..

I agree he is being overused but plzzz his voice completely suited the song and actor song still gives me goosebumps

No I don't feel so...
every generation had diff singers...now we are having arijit...we can say jubin or Amit are better then arijit but they are monotonous they can only sing one type of song..


Amit has great voice but only for peppy songs..same for jubin ...

so arijit stands out for me and deserves each bit of success he is getting :)..

in arjit case its connection pritam in video said "Han Main use karta hun arijit ko mera closet hai apko kya problem hai he is very close to me " 😉.

& yes you have a point.. audience would love if there would be more variety of voices in the Bollywood!

Yes and they should use other singers Arijit is not the only one in the industry.
