quality and quantity

two words seldom used together

mostly when one goes up..the other goes down

but i feel there needs to be a good mix of both esp when you aren't of the khans level and still comparatively new and climbing higher and higher

anushka sharma i feel is the top contender here from the A list actresses who is high on both the ends atm..i feel she is managing both quality and quantity extremely well

by quality i do not really mean the movies are all good..but her roles..performances are..also she is consistent and seen in more movies on avg 2 a year which many of her contemporaries deepika etc are lacking

thoughts?

I dont kmow.. Anu has such pooor screen presence that she hardly manages to make an impact.. she is forgettable and thus her cateer high just does not seem high enough.. if you know know what i mean

her career might be stable but without impact

She is not controversial enough nor does she wash her dirty linen in public nor does she have super aggressive PR who over promote her nor is she over hyped in media. She does have weak screen presence but she is lambhi race ka godha. Someday when you look back, you will realize she has done quite well in industry. 😃

Anushka Sharma is bollywood's most forgettable NUMBER 1 actress. Neither her screen presence, acting, face or demeanor I carry back home over her co-stars. In short she is not a star material and neither she is a ground breaking actor. Barring some parts of RNBJ, BBB and NH10 she is annoying, a and repetitive most of the time.

But yes as per statistics with two 300 crs and one potential 200cr+ she is definitely our Number 1 heroine at the moment

She has worked with the best directors and yet never managed to become THE THING that would you know be the talk like say DP with Meenama or Piku, Kangana with Queen or something like that.. Of course you might feel differently but I stand by the opinion that she just does not grasp your attention

I'll give her kudos for trying a nice mix career strategy. Yet to see her standout though. Of all the recent years mentioned, she hasn't attained the BEST of the year tag yet. 😆 The Khan movies just keeps her visible, that's it. She hasn't benefited personally from them, besides just having a 300CR on her resume... which would have happened irregardless of her presence.

I consider her the Akshay Kumar of actresses... releasing movies at a periodic cadence. 😆😆

The only A list actress who has played the same role in all her movies (till now) and is still called one of the finest actresses no variation nothing only the film concept s changes but her role remain the same

Alia may be a product of nepotism but still is much better than anushka atleast she attempts different characters

Anu definitely has the most stable career right now, with both commercial films and her own indie productions in her kitty.

She has starred in movies with Top directors, all 3 Khans, Akki as well as with the younger stars, now even signed a movie with Varun.

She has great chemistry with all her costars, that is one more plus point in her favor.

Shes the number 1 actress now in terms of BO and especially her lineup of future projects

LOL at people saying she doesnt have screen presence...she has more lively screen presence, talent, personality than some other overrated actresses. 😆

Best part is shes not an insider, or star kid, she is making it on her own, shes ambitious, hard-working, dedicated and driven.

She doesnt get roles handed over on a plate, she gets roles on her own merit and hard work.

Her production house is coming up with some interesting and content driven movies, another unique achievement for an actress in BW

Yes, what she doesnt have is an overactive PR which will keep her in the news even when no film is releasing in near future.

Deepika 's last film was almost 2 years back and Rangoon flopped but still I see the media and the cine goers online speak much more of DP and Kangs as actors whose's work they look forward to among all the female stars and not Anushka .
