You must have missed Band Baaja Baaraat as her portrayal of Shruti Kakkar was a RAGE. She also won Best Actress @ IIFA 2011. ADHM's Alizeh has also become somewhat of a cult character. And, Anushka has NEVER had surgery done.

Anushka has worked with the MOST prolific directors of ANY ACTRESS in the last 25 years: Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Rajkumar Hirani, Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap. The only one missing is SLB, but there's still time.

I have not been roused to watch any anushka featuring movies in recent times. She pretty much does the same bubbly, happy character over and over again. All in all, not a fan of her acting. She might have the quantity of movies in her hands, but the quality of her work is definitely missing IMO. A sincere performance you can spot from a mile away, heck I would even place her rival DP above her in acting and versatility because you can see DP trying different characters and challenging herself constantly, meanwhile Anushka is on the never ending ongoing cycle of doing the same old over and over again, exception being one or two of her production films.

Agreed. She's good at what she does, makes the right choices but still somehow something always seems amiss...its kinda puzzling actually

Anushka since last two year was present in top movies but still she didnt reach the kind of stardom that Deepika has or even Katrina with her poor acting. People talk more about Alia than her.

Right now she has again a good line up just like Katrina. Out of the two people will talk more about Katrina ofcourse if her movies are hits.
Dont know why but Anu has not that kind of aura she is just an actress but not Star material like PC, Kangana, Deepika and Katrina.

Even for Aamir, people still say that he has a weak screen presence and can easily be overshadowed by his peers. Or he is an actor more than a star. Reading similar stuff and keeping that as a basis, I think she will go like Aamir career wise and will own one extremely versatile and brilliant filmography.

She doesn't have that stardom to her and will never be #1. That'll go to Alia and Deepika and the likes. But she definitely made a change in the past few years that's really given her a career boost.

Balancing the Khan films and making her own films has given her a nice balance in terms of the roles that she wants to do. And she seems to be more relaxed as well...she doesn't have that deer-in-the-lights look that she used to have 😆

Anushka's movies have done well but she has not captured people's imagination as Katrina or DP. Guys don't find her hot!!!

Maybe they all think of her as their bhabhi because of the Virat connection 😆
