I want a change in the head of the censor board. Replace some sensible guy with Pahlaj Nihlani.

In movies, I want directors to experiment in different genres. Bollywood hardly experiments in case of genres. Currently Bollywood is mostly making 5 types of movies:
Slice-of-life feel-good movies
Urban and Desi rom-coms
Social drama movies
Biopic of every xyz person.
Mindless entertainers with no storyline.

On top of that, every movie has to be a love story even if it's not necessary. Why can't a Bollywood movie cannot be without love story??

I want to see Bollywood making movies in genres like horror, space, adventure, fantasy, animation.

Bollywood has hardly made any good horror movies. I really want to see a classic horror movie in Bollywood, with lots of blood and gore.

Space movie, I know Aamir is making Salute, but that too is a biopic and I guess more focus will be on the struggles of Rakesh Sharma and not the space part. I want a proper space movie like Gravity, Martian, Interstellar. Not fantasy science fiction, but real science.

Fantasy and adventure movies are the genres in which Bollywood has hardly tried their hand. Hollywood and South industry have always made good movies in this genre. It's time for Bollywood to too give this genre a chance.

Animation movies, I know that they don't have a big market in India. But isn't The Jungle Book too was also a Blockbuster here. Though I know that it wasn't technically an animated movie, but it seemed like so, no??
So this genre can also be given a chance if it has a good story to tell and can strike a chord with the Indian audience.

Also as everyone has mentioned here, Better music is needed. The songs and music of this decade suck big time. The movies and songs of 90s and 00s decades may not be great, but the music was just top notch. Maybe that's by movies of previous decade are more memorable to us.

And ofcourse, I want to see some talented outsiders in Bollywood. I don't have any problem with star kids if they are talented. But seeing every aira-gaira star kid in the movies and being shoved down our throats is really irritating.

Some Great scripts and well made movies. Dialogue writing needs to improve. Most songs are below average these days especially the lyrics. I want more good songs like samjhawan.

Was watching English Vinglish and I really want more movies like that that show NRIs and our plight rather than all of us being rich, snobbish weirdos.

I also would like more real romcoms not the fluffy candy floss ones like KJO has. More women oriented subtle movies like Queen, Piku, EV and some sci-fi/fantasy movies done right.
Also I want better music the music this yea is ATROCIOUS enough of these remixed songs, someone already mentioned the diversity of our country - we need to show all types of people without gross sterotypes and their music as well
