My favorite song from the album is nadaan parinde . Ranbir was amazing in that sequence and the entire sequence was heart breaking. Mohit was unreal in all the songs of this film.

Dunno. He is better than Arijith in a lot of ways IMO but Bollywood gets stuck in a rut and keeps repeating the same combination till ppl get sick of it 😆

@dingle_hopper- True. And there is no denying that ARR's best was in the 90s and early 2000. Off late, his work has been patchy and underwhelming. JTHJ was terrible. I remember he even mentioned in an IV that there was lack of connect between him and Adi. Imtiaz for all his faults gets the best out of his music directors and cinematographer. Tamasha had a great album too. Especially Heer toh badi sad hai and Agar tum sath ho.

Okay since we are discussing Rockstar, those who have seen the film please answer another question. I have another confusion.. 😆

In the wedding scene Jordan comes to visit Heer who is decked up in her wedding dress.

Heer says "Pooch na mat main sach bol doongi" (Dont ask or I will tell the truth)
Then Jordan says "Bol de na main darta hoon kya" (Tell it, I am not scared)
Then Heer just says "Haan." (Yes).. What did that cryptic "Haan" mean? 😕

My interpretation is Heer is accepting the proposal Jordan made a long time ago about being his girlfriend. But I am not sure.. 😕

Does anyone have any other interpretation?

I love this song.superb lyrics and such haunting tunes. It really is very sensual in a angsty way. Recently Sanam Abigail performed on it in Nach baliye and that song lifted the already great performance to fabulous.

Can I answer this too. I have listened to ARR literally since his debut. He is one of the voices I can identify blindfolded and I had to listen twice before I could identify him. His voice sounds hoarse, tired and changed in not a good way. I hope he is ok.
