Yes ALR used the songs in Ranjhana extremely well...probably better than most have done in years. That's perhaps why I feel the album was even better...it was truly made an integral part of the movie rather than being a loo break. I feel Imtiaz doesn't do that great a job..well actually it might not be fair to say that as I can hardly sit through Imtiaz's movies.

My favorite is Aisa Na Dekho ...nothing needed to be said, the song did wonders on its own. But the others are awesome as well.

If a film isn't popular, the songs usually go unnoticed. Maryan as a film was sooo boring. The only good thing was the music. Same for kadal. But kadal was more experimental. Glad he got an award for it.

I forgot that this song existed till I stumbled upon it a few months back. Listening to it everyday since then. All the songs in this movie are sooo good.
