Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has said his upcoming film Jagga Jasoos' is his "first and last film as producer. The Anurag Basu directed film has been delayed for nearly 4 years, which has pushed the budget to difficult-to-recover' levels.

The actor said "I have realised it (producing films) is not my cup of tea. This is my first and last film as a producer. I am happy being an actor. I am lazy and don't think I am cut out to be a filmmaker. I am glad, though, that I have been credited as producer for Jagga Jasoos

When asked about the reason why the film took so much time to complete, Ranbir said "None of us knew that the film would take so much time. I think it's everyone's mistake and we are all to be blamed for the delay

Jagga Jasoos' finally releases in theatres on July 14 this year.

Ranbir, who was seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' last year, also has a big film like Dutt biopic' lined up for release next year.

Lol about the delay being everyone's mistake...whatever Mr. Unprofessional Producer.

It will be better for everyone in the film crew if you aren't producing and acting in a film again... Who knows how many years it would take for the next one!

I loved he used example of how his grandchildren will be searching for their father in sequel if he tries to produce sequel. Lovely way to explain that he is aware the movie got delayed and he is not good producer. 😛 😆

Easy to charge Rs 40 crores and not bother when it flops. Can't do the same when you are investing money in the movie.

Then 100 percent of Bollywood is guilty of this at some time or another. That hasn't stopped any body from producing. Flops are part of their life. Beside movie is not 1 time investment. There are ways to make money than BO. 😆

It's high time Ranbir learns from his mistakes. He really kills me with his bad movie choices and now a production venture. I haven't seen him at his best since YJHD. I had to really give up on Ranbir the actor after ADHM despite accepting the ludicrousness Roy and BV were. 😡
If JJ turns things around for him, his future project Dutt will reverse that effect 360.
