Honestly, there is a thing called to choose attires according to occasion. Meeting high dignitaries like PM, President is an "official" and a "very-2 formal" occasion. In India, meeting such dignitaries means you have to be well-dresses, choose Indian attires or at least a good western attire. formal one. No need to be so defensive and blind when people point out obvious. If wearing bikini in swimming pool is apt, if wearing wedding attires in weddings is apt, if dressing up in party clothes in parties is apt, if dressing up for dance is another apt, then wearing appropriate clothes for formal, respectful occasions also is equally if not more important. Which does need some common sense.

I don't have any problem with the dress she's wearing. But why was Vella Modi meeting her in the first place? What was this issue of national importance that had to be discussed?
