Ranbir Kapoor chose to spend time with Deepika Padukone over Katrina K

On May 25 ace filmmaker Karan Johar
celebrated his 45th birthday and to make
the occasion even more special, a grand
bash was hosted for which many B-townies
were present. Many pictures from the
celebration circulated on the internet but
the picture that became talk of tinsel town
was the one where ex-lovers Deepika
Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
were spotted under one roof. Oh yeah, now
that must have been some serious scene of
awkwardness amongst the trio but still
nothing made Ranbir and Deepika
uncomfortable. A guest from the party
revealed to a leading daily that the
Tamasha' jodi were quite friendly with
each other.
But that really wasn't the same in case of
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. We all know
how the couple manages to maintain a
good distance from one another after the
ugly separation which happened in the
beginning of 2016. Ever since then it has
been difficult for everyone to bring these
two on cordial terms. Though we saw these
two together smiling and having fun when
Jagga Jasoos' director Anurag Basu was
slicing his birthday cake, it wasn't the same
at Karan Johar's birthday bash. Ranbir and
Ms. Kaif was literally away from each other
while they chilled out with other guests at

A guest who attended Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'
director's 45th birthday bash revealed some
juicy details. The guest revealed to DNA,
"Ranbir and Deepika were warm and
friendly with each other it was obvious that
Ranbir and Katrina were trying to avoid
each other. The couple have decided to be
professional and act normal on the sets, but
on their own time, they don't feel the need
to pretend that all is well. So, while Ranbir
circulated among various friends including
Karan, Anushka Sharma and Arjun Kapoor
(whom he came with to the party), he
avoided being anywhere going close to
Katrina. She too maintained her distance.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and
Katrina Kaif are gearing up for the release
of Jagga Jasoos' that is expected to release
