They have a name and thus are famous - although Aish is not good at acting(overall se) and Abhishek is unsuccessful in his career.

None of them gave many hit movies like the Khan's, Akshay, Deepika, Kajol, or even Katrina but both always gets so much attention to the media, it because of the Bachchchan tag? most people calls Abhi flop star kid that gave mostly flop movies and Ash doesn't have that many boxoffice hits either, her only hit movies that I know are Dhoom 2 and HDDCS, don't know if they have any good project on their kitty now but they are always given so much importance to the media for no important reason.

But other actresses like Madhuri, Juhi, Raveena Tandon and many other actresses gave more hits than her but they are not given that importance to the media and they did more better films than her, in fact she wasn't that relevant till the late 90's or early 2000's when she started to date Salman, even average actresses like Sonali Bendre, Shilpa Shetty or Twinkle Khanna gave more hits than Ash in the 90's, yeah I understand that Abhi gets so much attention for being the son of a legendary actor but so is Bobby Deol, Esha Deol, Tusher Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Akshay Khanna and many other actors actresses that are kids of famous people but they don't get half of the attention that Abhi is getting.
