Even I was disappointed with no elaborate wedding. I at least wish we had gotten a small glimpse of them in full wedding attire, either doing namaskaar to Sivagami and Mahishmati, or even glancing at each other sweetly. Just one glimpse! I wish SSR had shown us some love scenes between them, at least through a quick song that showed us how their married life for nine months was beautiful before the politics began in the baby shower.

My mom and sister left during the intermission and were late by like 3-4 mins and missed the wedding + him sitting on her lap sequence because it was so damn fast. SSR why'd you cut this footage? *le cries* (I'm assuming he shot this one more extensively than was shown)

I think its incredibly unfair to every character that suffered at the hands of Bhalla; he should have received a slow, painful death

(Bhalla should have been caged in the same manner Devasena was -- I'm not saying 25 years, because this dude's as treacherous as it gets -- he could plan and do some other evil-nonsense and throw the kingdom into chaos again but he should have been kept alive for Mahendra's ascension to the throne)

Like Bijjala being apaahij like dritarashtra being blind and so despite he being elder didn't get the throne so always ignited the war. The fight scenes were mostly like those of duryodhana and arjun. Even that chhati chirna and use of gadaa things were done by someone in mahabharatha I don't remember.
Like amarendra getting vahishkrit from the palace like rama.
Like amarendra staying in disguise like arjuna but showing his warrior skills in time ( that's when he met chitrangada I believe).
Like Mahendra getting deported like krishna in the fear of getting killed by kangsa like bhalla, and being raised by yashoda like sangha, but him returning in time to become the king.

But the thing is the flaws have been corrected. Unlike rama and arjuna amarendra never stood silent at his wife's insult unlike that of Draupadi's nor did he send her for angipariksha etc on being convicted like rama maybe, rather trusted only her. He did what was right and not what the world expected out of him.
Neither did Mahendra leave his foster mom unlike krishna.

Even the scene where Amarendra feels the baby kicking seem to be forging a connection between him and his son. It reminded me of unborn Abhimanyu learning war tactics from his father while in his mother's womb. Maybe ssr was trying to draw those parallel's here and Mahendra absorbed something of his father's inventiveness and that's how he could defeat Bhalla at the end without any formal training.

Flaws in today's context.

Ram and arjuna are blamed because the stories have been written that way, with situations arising that are questioned in today's context so obviously they're flaws in today's context.

Amarendra left no idea of him that could ever be questioned in any context. That's all.
