True, he had seen the love and deep affection Baahubali and Sivagami held for each other, but he was not with them always, so I guess he didn't understand it fully. That's why he tought Sivagami could kill Baahubali, and that would be even more painful to both mother and son. So he agreed to kill Baahu himself. If only he knew Sivagami could never kill him

It's not just injustice to her 1st son.. I think it was her fear of losing the power she had & fear of Devasena taking over her role in Baahu's life & Maahishmathi court.. and her ego was hurt... so many factors all contributed to her becoming blind to the truth!

Kattapa could have arranged a meeting in the private with mother and son, without anyone interfering them. Or he could have talked about it to Baahubali. Amarendra would have then somehow cleared the miunderstandings.
Prabhas should never ever do a movie in which his character dies in the end. Even if its a double role movie, I can't bear it 😭
