I didn't feel for Mahendra, Amarendra as much as I felt for Devasena. Yes Mahendra was separated from his mother but he didn't get a chance to miss her because he got that warmth from Sanga. Same for Amarendra. He never felt lack of a mother as Sivagami filled that void. That's not the case with Deva. She lost her parents before. On one hand her husband is dead, on the other hand she was forced to give up her son for his safety. Amara is dead and gone, Mahendra ended up in a new home but Deva ?? Forget about food, shelter and clothes she had no one to even cry her woes out to. From dawn to dusk she had to only think about her late husband, son and pick up twigs. It was not for 1-2 years but 25 years. Atleast Sivagami breast fed Amara, Deva didn't even get to do that also. How painful can that be ! I'd rather Sivagami kill Amara and Deva directly than to put them through this. Sigh !!

Mahendra was losing the fight.. and by keeping his hands on his Shivalingam that was worshiped by Sivagami and his father, he is gathering the strength..

and when Krupa kataksha line comes, the blood from top flows to the eyes in that Shivalingam.. and Mahendra's eyes are shown with blood dripping across..

So again its like he is calling his father for support to help him cross the hardship and defeat Bhalla..

by the Kwachi digambare mano vinodhamedu vastuni..

Its actual meaning is lord shiva who is the god of all 8 directions..

but here, its amarendra who is above them and his presence is filled in all 8 directions for whom his son is calling for!
