Okay reading these lines made me think something...Mahendra lifted Shivalingam(the father), and he was born to Devasena. The inner fire in Devasena in the form of Mahendra was what lifted up Amarendra and he later guided Mahendra towards the kingdom, to fulfill the purpose.

Did you guys notice while Amara always used to bow down to his mother's feet for blessings not once Mahendra fell at Deva's feet 😉 he didn't even cry on her lap only held her hands and shed tears then looks up to her eyes and his rage is shown. The Amarendra in him not allowing him to do so I guess... 😳
