Its not Pari or Ayushman's fault, the movie got 3 stars from some critics.

The film got hit by the juggernaut called Bahubali 2, its still running houseful in most theaters and MPB cannot attract that audience.

But MPB might just abt recover its budget, as its low at 22 crores and has already recovered 10 crores from satellite and music rights

IF is too eager to write off any movie that is not a potential Blockbuster ...this is a small movie and expects small business and might end up with average tag

If not then its not surprising for this year all low budget, small star or female dominated movies are flopping. People only want to see large scale spectacles and movies with big stars.

I don't like Parineeti, but I really like Ayushman, so hope the movie gains like his movies usually do. I mean his two other hits VD and DLKH also were slow starters which went on to run in many theatres for as long as 10-12 weeks even breaking/joining many late week clubs.

PK, NH10, DDD, Sultan, ADHM, Phillauri r all either average or hits 👍🏼

Leave alone the Khan films as it didn't matter if she was in those films. The rest are successes in your lala land. Let's also not forget that she has BV in her resume.

I dont get why you have to bring Anushka into this if you are frustrated as a Parineeti fan...

in that list of films there r only 2 khan films and why shouldn't we mention them? Parineeti is a YRF favourite why didnt she get Sultan? Anushka was amazing as Aarfa in Sultan n Salman himself said she made him look good...it's sad how alot of ppl disrespect actresses by saying they r all replaceable n add nothing to a film

yeh BV was a flop...so what? ppl are having flops left right n centre these days...one flop since 2014 is not a big deal.. Atleast Anushka has been doing n producing movies rather than not doing anything n jus giving interviews about fitness for 2 years

Feel bad fir both..I thought of watching thus movie in theatre ...but didn't find time. Not sure why it didn't work...promos looked great.

I saw this film yesterday and its wonderful. The writing is very slice of life - real and relatable. The confession scene is adorable and the ending is just perfect. The performances are great, especially Ayushman. The supporting cast is stellar. I loved the film.

Well, not everyone is fortunate enough to have a Godfather like KJO backing their career and making them top priority at their PH. It's hard to gauge her acting capabilities since she hasn't really had the best opportunities to showcase them and has mostly been typecasted into bubbly and loud roles. Her worst mistake was letting go of Piku.

As an Anushka fan you should know better than anyone how awful of a mentor Aditya Chopra can be to his proteges.

Even then it is the fault of the film if it cannot attract audiences in the theatres and take them away from a dubbed regional film. The film had no buzz, had a terrible promotional strategy of releasing promos as chapters without a proper trailer, and the film overall was terrible and this isn't me who is saying this, but the whole theatre coming out after credit roll and criticizing the director and the film like anything.
