Finally done with the film. I cannot cannot put into words how much joy I had while watching AmarSena. They are truly the most divine cinematic couple. I have so much to say but I just can't gather them into proper words. But I have to mention a few things. I know spoilers are to be avoided but but but I badly needed to mention the following. Some of the points may have spoilers, so those who haven't watch please close your eyes.


1. Devasena was not wrong when she send reply to Sivagami regarding marriage to Bhallaladeva. She was a self righteous warrior princess. She regards her dignity high and doesn't let anyone degrade her. Someone with that much of self respect, when the minister of Mahishmati talked in a way that made her seem like an object that can be purchased with money, it can only lead her to be angry. Thus her reply came out slightly harsh. Devasena is a strong headed woman and acting coyly or agreeing to the relation would be so out of character for her. Hats off to SSR garu and our beautiful sena Sweety for making us fall in love with Devasena. Amarendra and Sivagami were such power packed roles and they were epitome of larger than life characters. I am glad SSR garu made Devasena equally stronger to them if not more.

2. I couldn't mention this earlier in my review but I have to say hats off to the costume department. I mean how effing gorgeous was our S! She has always been known as Queen of South Cinema bcos of how she excels and brings royal roles to life easily. Today I admit whole heartedly that this woman is THE REIGNING QUEEN OF SOUTH CINEMA PERIOD.



3. I know many complained about how Mahendra had no true warrior sense with how he never planned something like Amarendra did. But why have people forgotten that Mahendra is Amarendra Son. There is no way Mahendra doesn't have those 23 chromosomes of his dad. He may not be blessed with learned behaviour but he is still Baahu's son. And then ofcourse his Mother Devasena is no less. Also have to mention how smartly SSR made sure Mahendra didn't win the battle in first try. He kept pushing himself to do something, something Amara no need to do cos he has so much talent, D may not be as great as Mahendra, but his acting as Amarendra more than made up for it.


4. Courtroom scene and Hand bridge scene were my TOP two scenes of the film.


5. I am obsessed with D's fingers. Literally!
