Deepika Padukone on Baahubali: It is breaking barriers; it's like Priyanka Chopra and myself representing India globally

During the press event of Cannes 2017 today, Deepika Padukone was asked about Baahubali's success.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has created a history in Indian cinema at the worldwide box office as the film is standing tall at INR 860 crore and is inching close to earning INR 1000 crore. During the press event today which was on the lines of Cannes 2017, Deepika was asked about Baahubali's success at the international market.

To which she replied, "That the possibilities are endless and limitless. That's why I do XXX and Priyanka does what she does. There is no limit to creativity. Whether it's us Indians representing us globally or whether it's a Baahubali which a regional film which we understand is breaking barriers and crossing boundaries and has become such a huge success."

Oh and in other news "Baywatch" will have a 40 million plus opening weekend. So a 100 million movie for Priyanka. 👏
