If Bahubali 2 is successful, it is coz Hindi audience and BW is supporting the movie .

Hindi film dubbed in South Language has never been supported or appreciated like this, i think Dangal is highest Dubbed version we have for any hindi film.

As Sound Engineer of Bahubali 2 said, Bollywood can't make films like this, same would have been their mentality i suppose as they don't feel our cinema is this much praise worthy. So many articles on how bad Bollywood films are, khans are done... seeing enough hate only.

Why dont you guys see this film as an Indian film?
Why this North versus South comparisons? As if it was India vs Pakistan? I'm not getting it 😳
Its the same nation, we have the same President, the same Prime minister, the same money, the same anthem?
You are proud to say Abdul Kalam ji is an Indian right? You wont call him a South Indian? You say Gandhiji is an Indian right?

So if Baahubali does good, thats great. Its an Indian movie, Prabhas made his entry at Madame Tussaud and we shall b proud of it, thats all!

If the ticket prices are enhanced, whether you want to buy it or not, YOUR choice! If the public is willing to buy, who are you to stop it? None is blackmailing nor forcing anyone to go and watch it, right?

When ppl make crores of black money, these earn it legally and rightly so! They worked hard, people are paying off their efforts! The movie is already leaked on the internet, if they found it expensive, they'd have watched it on the internet, but no, there are still queues to watch the movie! Good for them!

ArYa - This North-South debate is started by South Indians who want to prove that BW and Khans are dwarfs in front of Bahubali.
See Lakhan's reply on last page. South doesn't support even good BW dubbed movies .

I still think Bahubali is highly overhyped. But even if people think its worth it, agree it has craze even then at least its quick earnings deserve least respect and comparison with other movies. Earnings wise is strict no in this scenario when their ticket prices range varies so much.

The lack of logic on this thread is strong. Keep the hate going.

And the sound engineer had commented on Bollywood's discipline compared to South, and he isn't the first guy to say that.

Its just that they want to see good stories! JA had a good run at the tamil BO, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Chennai express, and many more... yeah SI ppl never liked the dubbed version as the dubbing sucks, they watch it in original version, be it other SI movies from other states or Hindi movies. In fact, theres this Malayalam movie Premam that did well in the Tamil in its original version. Just watch a Hindi movie dubbed in SI language, its such a pain! Maybe if the producers really wanted a wider reach in SI, they'd make efforts to dub it better. JOdhaa Akbar was one of the best dubbed movie, and thats because the producer wanted to reach SI audience as well...

Baahubali certainly deserves accolades as the graphics/visuals are well done. Its the first in this kind and ppl watch it because they are lost in another world, amazed by its grandeur, its certainly a good theatrical experience...

Cause BW is always touted as the Indian movie Industry and the regional movie industries are not given due respect. All 4 South industries are lumped together while there are so many people who have never seen a BW movie, but go to these regional movies all the time. So when a regional industry makes it big why the hell should it not be given the respect and praise it deserves ? This film is ground breaking because it made so much money as a dubbed movie. All that matters.

Give the movies and the region the respect they deserve. Do not treat them like the step child of BW.

I honestly don't see the hype, I thought Bahubali 1 was awful, I went to watch the sequel after reading the reviews and seeing it break all records and again.. I was bored throughout. Not my type of film.

I'm not sure I stated my position correctly before. Bahubali 2 is charging higher prices because ppl are willing to pay. There was news of tickets selling for 3 grand in black. Personally I will wait for a couple of weeks to watch the movie when the prices go down.

Please request the Khans to charge the same for their movies next time and see how much money ppl will be willing to cough up. ALready Eros and Lulla are under the scanner for money laundering via BW. Very soon BW trash that claims to earn 100 crores will be under the scanner. Let's Hope a John Doe will resurge soon.

Oh and there has been no good BW movie in recent years. Been ages since I watched any. SO yeah, people down south are , spoilt for choice with 4 regional industries' films they can understand without subs( a new wave in Malayalam cinema the most recent ) so no they don't want to watch BW crap.

On the other hand, the other regions are watching Bahubali because they like to watch a good film and are not wedded to BW. They're Indians first and foremost and this is a free country and they will choose what to watch, not what Khan fans tell them to.
