Also, the discussion is clearly about the standardization and forced homogenization of national media which otherizes Southern movie industry and South India in general for obvious reasons related to language+appearance. Idk where some of you are getting Khans and other nonsense from. It's clearly a discussion about national media's continued push for and disregard of other industries and languages not Bollywood or Hindi.

hadd ho gyi , hindi is national language so everybody knows abt Bollywood n hindi ,so wat if de make remake of it , now de have to learn everything abt south if de want to remake one movie , reporters dont know bcs its not popular in north , itna halla kyu bhai

You may he happy with Hindi eating up your language, but others will fight.

I haven't read Garga Chaterjee's wanting Karnataka to play international matches, but I have read others. And point about cricket teams are due to BCCI and pointing out that other parts in other countries do the same. Again India is a UNION of states.

sanskrit is our religious language do south indian know how to speak sanskrit , luks like their south language eat up sanskrit badly.

according to dis thread north india n hindi baki sari language ko kha gya hai so y questioning us , north toh pahle hi badnam hai but ppl projecting south as dudh ka dhula den how can de eat Sanskrit like dis. bcs regional language eat sanskrit dets y no state left there which speak Sanskrit , de only use their language just like hindi speaker use hindi to talk so y blame only north n hindi , sab ne koi na koi bhasha khayi hai to promote their own regional language .sab wahi kar rahe hai.

by d way bahubali 2 is also responsible to snatching chance from regional cinema bcs of bahubali asam movie dint got screens bcs bahubali ate all screens , no body is dudh ka dhula .

people who are worried about why hindi is widely popular and why cant english be the common language...
answer is simple. in india 75 percent people stay in villages where education still remains a challenge where as 80 percent people in india atleast understand hindi and only 10-15 percent can understand and speak english. these factors make hindi the easiest choice and the common link .promoting hindi doesnt mean endangering regional languages and i dont believe that hindi is imposed in this country on anyone. as per our constitution we dont have a national language and hindi/english both are official languages but the same constitution also mentions about promotion of hindi only reason being making the communication easier and facilitate regional integration .

Which villages are you talking about in which 80 percent understand Hindi?

A rural Tamilian goes to Delhi and he is not accommodated in his language.

A rural UPian goes to even Tamil Nadu and is accommodated in his language (or rather, I should say, Hindi).

Yeah he speaks in TN in English because TN would not allow any other way. He goes to other South Indian states, but is confident about the Hindi imposition throughout the years and the dormant, laid back general attitudes so he speaks in Hindi. Well, people in those other states are now waking up and citizenry in one are even leading the charge against Hindi imposition this time.😃

Media available in all languages, but most National media in Hindi and English, all know where the focus is on. And in fact, one person even kindly admitted the perception, since National Media are Hindi, then obviously they will focus on Hindi related aspects mostly.

.
i was talking about overall in india 70-80 percent people can at least understand hindi. see its not just about rural TN its also about rural gujarat, rural WB, rural Maharashtra, rural assam . other than 4/5 states ( not everyone of these states speak hindi either ) everyone face the same problem. so either hindi or english could be promoted. thats what i said.but the problem is promoting hindi was easier than promoting english. so if in some state say for example WB people think that they are more comfortable with english and its easy to make everyone learn english then that is excellent . i would say promote hindi but dont make it compulsory .i would have said promote english but its not going to be easy . if people of any state think that english is enough to communicate with everyone across the country then its fine. people who think that they would never move from their respective states and why should they learn hindi ,again its fine. the rest of the people can opt for learning hindi . see if you know hindi you can communicate with most of the people in north, east, west and a sizable portion of south. if you can speak english then you can communicate with a small portion of north, east, west and a sizable portion of south.i would have said learn a south indian language but we have 5/6 languages in south so learning 1 language will not work. so learn both hindi and english if you want to communicate with everyone across india . problem solved. ..
remember yesterday you were talking about CBSE the recommendation was made by CBSE but not about hindi. it was english plus any two of 22 languages which i am sure HRD ministry will not accept. and in parliament hindi will be compulsory for those who can speak and read hindi and again not for everyone only for region A states (rajasthan+ mp +bihar + up etc ) all these hindi being compulsory which is made a base by political groups to attack government by misleading people is actually for region A states not for everyone. dont believe everything you read in NP or social media. and again hindi will never be able to replace regional languages. it will only help in regional integration. .
