In 100 days Madhuri keeps seeing visions that are clues to solving the murder of her sister, but not the actual murderer himself.

I feel like I have seen this film you are talking about but cannot remember anything else about it. Basically the wife decides to help the police but that turns their world upside down - the murderer threatens them and the husband wants the wife to stop helping and so on. Ended darkly too if I remember correctly.

No it was older than "Pehla Nasha" and did not have any known mainstream actors/actresses.

It is not "100 Days".

But I think you may be right about having seen this film also as your description sounds a bit familiar. I remember there being quite a bit of conflict between the husband and wife after they decide to help the police.

Sorry I have no clue about the movie but someone said Open Window, it was such a nice short story from my school English text book 😃 Reading it again now.

It is about a man who has some anxiety issues and little naughty girl scares him by making up stories.

U mean 100 Days? I don't think this is that movie. First Jackie Shroff & Madhuri Dixit were big stars then. Second, this is not parallel but main cinema. Third, 100Days was not normal thriller or detective story. It had Madhuri following and investigating the visions she saw first about some murder and then the clues.
