Swetha: They'll never ever opt for surrogacy. That's totally not Sanskaari Bachchan style. They had rather than their 42-3 year old daughter in law suffers & undergoes lot of stress & anxiety rather than opt for surrogacy.

@Hichki -- Yes. It is a reality in Indian families. I agree. Though as A Gujju, I see a major change in mindset of people around me. Girl child is equally cherished as boy child in new age gen couples.

But How come you are sure that.. Bachhans kept trying until they had Abhishek? That's such a bullshit. I have a younger brother, he just happened to be 2nd child. All my parents wanted was 2 kids.

Ab Sr. recently declared his property will be equally divided between Sweta and Abhi. That makes me think, he doesn't discriminate.

Unless and until Bachhans prove it otherwise with their actions, I wouldn't call them orthodox based on my imaginations. or IF's imaginations.
