These 3 came out of no where like limited industry support
All are big names now and every big star would love to work with them

Shoojit Sircar has directed Yahaan, Vicky Donor, Piku, Madras Cafe and produced Pink (writer too)

Anand L Rai has directed Strangers, Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa, TWMR and produced Happy Bhaag Jayegi & Nil Bhattey Sannata

Neeraj Pandey has directed A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby, MS Dhoni and produced Total Siyappa, Rustom, Naam Shabana, Toilet Ek Prem Katha

Their upcoming films

Shoojit Sircar - Biopic on Udham Singh and Romantic/Drama with Varun Dhawan (written by Juhi Caturvedi)

Anand L Rai - Big release in 2018 Christmas with SRK in lead

Neeraj Pandey - Crack with Akshay Kumar & Aiyaary with Sid M & Manoj B

well... Shoojit Sircar's Madras Cafe and Neeraj Pandey's Special 26 and A Wednesday.
Rest of Neeraj Pandey's movies were either not as good, or were bad.

I haven't seen many movies by Shoojit

Shoojit Sircar all the way!! I have enjoyed every work of his.Not to mention, some of his movies actually posses repeat value which is kind of rarest in BW these days👏

Neeraj is also amazing but not really versatile.

ALR is overrated as hell..especially on this forum you get called a snob if you cant connect to his version of rural middle class😆.Disliked Ranjhaana and TWM2.TWM was ok watchable.Could not care less about whatever dwarf vfx with SRK🥱

I didn't like Shoojits film too much barring Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe.

But gotta give credit that he is most versatile on the list

Shoojit Sircar is the best among the three. I loved Vicky Donor and Piku. Yahaan and Madras Cafe was great too. Also he's very versatile and knows really well how to handle different types of genres, which is very rare for Bollywood director. Neeraj Pandey is the best director for thriller movies. A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby all were awesome, but he's not very versatile which we saw in MSD. Anand L Rai is like poor man's Hirani. His movies too have a connect with common people and has an Indian touch which makes his movies appealing to all sections of audience but I find him quite overrated. I liked TWMR and Raanjhanaa. TWM was a good one time watch and i have not watched strangers.
