A few members were discussing the lack of a romantic song featuring Gayatri in Swades on the other thread about this film.

AR Rehman had composed this romantic duet for the film but it was later removed from the film due to the length. The vocals are by Udit Narayan and Sadhna Sargam.

Not saying it's not. But this is a lovely track. There were a few comments on the other thread about the lack of romantic songs focusing on Gayatri in the film. This thread is more about that.

Yeah, so wish they had.

Fortunately, it was retained in the album. And now thanks to YouTube, we can watch all these lovely video songs that were chopped out from the screenplay. 😊
