May Mr. Rai's soul rest in peace.
Aishwarya is looking gorgeous and poised. And well, we are no one to tell whether she should wear make up or not 😕 The grief of a daughter for her father wouldn't get any lesser if she chooses to wear make up.

What is so wrong if a daughter chose to send off her beloved father in her best attire and with a smile? I bet that's exactly how her dad would've wanted to see her...She obviously celebrates her father, dead or alive doesn't matter, for he is going to remain with her forever!

Good to see aaradhya pay respect to her grandfather. Ash is a good mom as we can see. But I also feel she is too possessive about Aaradhya and never see Abhishek bond as much with his kid... and Abhishek himself is a damn good person...

I think they (Abhi &Aaradhya) bond behind closed doors😆😆, i think Abhishek can't handle Aaradhya in public place like Aish.

Hindu religious customs vary based on communities. In many communities, the family wears new clothes and has to dress well on the 13th. Actually the 13th is a celebration which marks the conclusion of the mourning. Hindus believe that the soul has merged with the land of the pithrus - manes and is blessing them.
Do not criticize people's attire without understanding the customs of their community - else use this as an opportunity to learn and not judge!
Also would like to point out that the gajra is not something you wear to dress up - but in the southern communities is seen as essential part of being a married lady - and worn on the hair just like sindoor is worn or glass bangles -
She is dressing formally for the event as a south indian married woman.

though I don't like bahurani's acting...but I must say this lady spells class.
I am happy to see her dressed so elegantly, her dad must be smiling seeing her in this look!
mourning is good, but celebrate life after death.

I love her look, simple , elegant and looking beautiful. Ara looks cute and Abhi looks nice. The picture with all three of them looks very nice.
As for makeup, for some people it is like part of their dress. I am in no way an actress or even a public person but I wear face cream, perfume, mascara at home and something on my lips when I go out. It's just is part of my dress. There are products you wear for when you swim or hike or even go to the gym because people use it that way. .

Ash has been a public person for 20 plus years, a world famous actress so why the hell would she not wear makeup.

I am from the north and no one dresses - up per se at the Tervee. It's a prayer meet for the departed, not something you'd go to a salon for.

I am yet to come across any tervee/ prayer meet where a celeb or nonceleb ( north or south ) has worn a gajra. It is odd to me and NO, IT DOESN'T MAKE ME VILE. I just don't blindly follow what others are saying and am not scared to say what I genuinely feel.

I am not saying she isn't feeling the loss, I am just shocked at her choice to dress up to the extend that she has and she is dolled up indeed.

No doubt, she looks gorgeous though.
