Don't really think so. Name a SLB heroine who hasn't had a substantial part? In Devdas most critics gave the film to the women & even though RS got the meatiest part in Bajirao (and benefited the most from it), it's pretty clear PC & DP were happy with their parts. He's considered a dream director for most actresses & most are willing to play along with his eccentricities.

Only on the forum tbh, she's doing fine. She's more low key to the other actresses media wise and maybe she doesn't inspire fannish levels of devotion, but on the flip side she doesn't inspire hatred really either. People are happy to work with her, directors are happy to cast her, & she never ruins movies.

no, it's not just on this forum! despite being in two 300 crore movies and working with all three Khans she doesn't have the popularity, brands and earnings. She's actually surprisingly low everywhere.

Exactly she is not cashing on the success the right way

and also the fact is that ADHM helped her more than Sultan did...

Khan films have stronger part for the male lead, which doesn't help any A lister. Even if they approach any star (Which they defo do), they most prob reject it because of lack of any substantial screen time or importance to the script. Deepika tried to do such film (XXX3) and that gamble failed! Audience is not ready to see her or any other actresses in such flowerpot roles

She referred to them collectively starting from 28:30 when rajeev asks a question about the khans, and specifically about srk, she says "shahrukh sir, I'm a huge fan and it's very unfortunate our paths are not going cross" somewhere in that question. :)

Yeah but some of that is her visibility. She was playing it too lowkey, her stardom only got solidified this year. 2015 she had disaster BV, people talking about her lips, small role in DDD. NH10 got a little lost in the shuffle of TWMR, Piku, Badlapur. Also people don't find her particularly likable from what I've unscientifically observed but in terms of career longevity it doesn't matter if she has a craze over her. More importantly, no one has problems with her. Her brands will probably jump this year/ next year (unless BKD is a Blockbuster)

I have to write this... It was a good interview. As much as I dislike Kangana personally and despite not agreeing with many of her replies here, I like that for a change a celebrity is talking so candidly. We get some answers other than those diplomatic generic answers that most people give for similar questions as asked to her. So, that's good.
